Nursing Student Association The Nursing Student Association of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta (Himpunan Mahasiswa Program Studi Ilmu Keperawatan or HMPSIK) is a student-led organization dedicated to fostering academic and professional development among nursing students. Its primary objective is to enhance the skills and knowledge of its members, equipping them for successful careers in the healthcare field. HMPSIK organizes various activities such as workshops, seminars, and community service programs that focus on healthcare education and practical nursing skills. The association also plays a key role in advocating for the needs and interests of nursing students within the university. Through its events, HMPSIK aims to build a sense of camaraderie and professional responsibility among future nurses. Additionally, it collaborates with other student associations and external health organizations to promote public health initiatives and provide valuable hands-on experience to its members.

DENTA

The Disaster and Emergency Nursing Team (DENTA) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is a specialized student organization focused on training nursing students in disaster preparedness and emergency care. DENTA aims to equip its members with the essential knowledge and skills required to respond effectively in crisis situations, such as natural disasters and medical emergencies. The team conducts regular training sessions, workshops, and simulations to enhance the practical abilities of its members in handling emergency scenarios.

On September 28, 2024, the Disaster and Emergency Nursing Team (DENTA) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta successfully conducted a water rescue training held at Situ Bungur, Pondok Ranji, Ciputat Timur. The event was attended by 55 participants, consisting of 38 DENTA members and 17 external participants. The participants included junior DENTA members, several senior members, as well as nursing students from UIN Syarif Hidayatullah. The training also involved professional trainers from the Disaster Management Center (DMC) of Dompet Dhuafa. The event commenced at 7:00 AM and proceeded smoothly until late afternoon, featuring both theoretical presentations and practical field exercises on water rescue techniques.
